Rahsaan Roland Kirk - Natural Black Inventions: Root Strata

I've been getting back into jazz a lot lately. I felt it was time for another jazz album since it had been a few months. My favorite Roland Kirk albums. Really everything he did is excellent. Yes, I did get the name of this blog from one of the songs on this album.

Carnage - The Day Man Lost / Infestation Of Evil

The first two demos from the incredible Swedish death metal band. Major Carcass worship on both of them.

Funebrarum - Beneath The Columns Of Abandoned Gods

I hate to use the word brutal, but that is one of the first things that comes to my mind when I listen to this band. Sometimes slow and very punishing. A throw back to the old school of death metal. Classic album.

Immortal - Pure Holocaust

It is snowing here in Ohio, so I felt obligated to post an Immortal album. Here is my personal favorite out of all of them.

Hatred Surge - Servant B/W Bestial 7"

2 songs. Like nothing you've ever heard from them before. Be sure to buy it before it goes out of print!

Sleep - Volume One

The extremely underrated first album from Sleep. Much more doom metal than the other albums.

Bolt Thrower - In Battle There Is No Law

First album from the classic grindcore band. Very underrated album.

Confuse / Unholy Grave / Thrash 'Till Death

3 solid albums. Not much to say Links are in the comments as usual

PUTRID, DISGUSTING, EVERY OTHER WORD USED TO DESCRIBE SOMETHING GROSS. Classic grindcore album. One of the best of all time. You will not be disappointed.

Darkthrone - A Blaze In The Northern Sky

THE GRIMMEST OF THE GRIM, THE MOST FROSTBITTEN OF THEM ALL. THE FINEST BLACK METAL ALBUM EVER MADE! LISTEN TO IT, AND DO SOMETHING ANTI - RELIGIOUS!

Swarrrm - Against Again

Very chaotic grindcore. By far my favorite album from them.

Confuse - Indignation

Real good punk band. I'll be posting another one of their albums later in the week.

GISM - DETESTation (reissue)

The reissue of the essential album from GISM. Probably one of my favorite albums ever Only new thing on it is the last track, which is 3 songs.

SxOxB - Don't Be Swindle

PREPARE TO RAGE, TO THE BEST THING TO COME OUT OF JAPAN!!! One of my all time favorite bands. Super fast, tons of fun.

Death Side - Bet On The Possbility

Awesome hardcore, awesome haircuts. Thrash influenced hardcore, some great guitar work on this album.

Outo - Discography

YDI - A Place In The Sun

Real good Philly hardcore. Probably one of the best hardcore albums ever.

D.R.I. - Violent Pacification

My favorite stuff from them. Fast and quite good. The version of Couch Slouch is not as good as the one on Dealing With It
