The best album from the Canadian punk group. If you don't know who NoMeansNo are (which makes you a complete moron), this describes them fairly well "Devo on a jazz trip, Motörhead after art school, or Wire on psychotic steroids."

Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady

My favorite Mingus album. I don't know what to say about it other than it's really good. Here's a good description of it "Written as a ballet, the work borrows from Ellingtonian and Latin sources, but creates a unique orchestral style that Mingus called "ethnic folk-dance music".

All of the songs are played to a pretty competent thrash/metal backdrop. The highlights of this album are "Coffee Achievers," and "Sidewalk Bombs."

Super-fast powerviolence destruction, disemboweled with thick guitar sounds, crazed vocals, and a drummer who has obviously been listening to his death metal. Works faster than an enema, and with far more powerful results.

Plutocracy - Dankstahz

My personal favorite of all the Plutocracy material. I prefer to file them as sludgy-power violence / grindcore. They called themselves "Dankcore: A mix of Grindcore, distortion, movie samples, gangtsa’ rap, and multiple screaming voices with references to killing cops, smoking weed, and inside jokes regarding their 'crew', known to many as the 'Doomryderz'."
One of the best releases from the amazing Slap-A-Ham record label. Go get the discography if you're really into this.

Spazz was an influential American power violence band active between 1992 and 2000. The trio released numerous records within this time, many of which are now highly collectable due to their relative rarity. The band's releases often showcased their unusual sense of humour: absurdly long and nonsensical song titles, audio samples from b-movies and kung-fu films between songs and the occasional use of hip hop beats as well as saxophones, banjos and other instruments rarely associated within hardcore punk.
