Scream - Still Screaming / This Side Up
Comp of the first two albums from one of my favorite Washington D.C. Hardcore bands. Fast hardcore mixed with sort of a dub / reggae. Less hardcore on This Side Up, but still a great album.

Naughty By Nature - S/T
Well, tonight is my last post. I was going to post Ribzy, but I couldn't find that shit. So tonight, I leave you with one of my favorite album. It's got OPP and Pin The Tail On The Donkey (May remember that song from THPS 2)but more importantly, it includes Guard Your Grill, Uptown Anthem, and my personal favorite, Wickedest Man Alive. Stanton Swihart of All Music Guide claims that it was the most "contagious crossover radio smash in the autumn of 1991."[1] In addition, Swihart considers Naughty by Nature to be "both a pop and a rap classic," as well as a "must-have album for fans of East Coast rap."

Ice-T O.G. Original Gangster
So, today finnaly came. I am doing two guest posts while Sexy Ryan is in Toronto. I'm going off the path a bit today. Instead of some jazz or hardcore, I'm going to post one of the best hip hop albums ever. Ice-T's 1991 release is fucking insane. It includes some of the best rap songs ever, such as "Midnight," "Bitches 2," and "New Jack Hustler." And whether you dig them or not, it was on this album that Ice introduced us to Body Count. (Their first two albums are amazing)
So dig this if you're into 72minutes of hard shittt!

Die Kreuzen - S/T
I'm going to be in Toronto this weekend. So Seth is going to do guest posts. I have no idea what he's going to put up here.
Back to the hardcore. Another extremely underrated mid-west band. Fast and sometimes short. Nothing else they did after this even compares to this one. I think this is the best album to come out of the mid-west.
1. Rumors
2. This Hope
3. In School
4. I'm Tired
5. On the Street
6. Enemies
7. Get 'Em
8. Fighting
9. No Time

John Coltrane - Live In Seattle
The conclusion of "John Coltrane being a huge badass and making ridiculously good songs".
More of Coltrane improvising and making brilliant songs. Disc Two is much longer than Disc One is terms of minutes per song.
Disc One:
1. Cosmos
2. Out Of This World
3. Body And Soul
4. Tapestry in Sound
Disc Two:
1. Evolution
2. Afro-Blue

John Coltrane - Ascension
Part one of "John Coltrane being a huge badass and making ridiculously good songs"
2 songs, almost 80 minutes in length. The whole album is basically everyone doing solos. When I first listened to this, I couldn't get into it at all. Now I think it's one of the best albums I've ever heard.
1. Ascension - Edition II
2. Ascension - Edition I

Thelonious Monk - Solo Monk
One of my favorite jazz albums. Monk by himself, playing some perfect songs. It feels weird hearing monk play all by himself and not with a backing band.

4. North Of The Sunset
5. Ruby, My Dear
6. I'm Confessin' (That I Love You)

Crucifucks - Our Will Be Done
Mid-West hardcore at its finest. I watched Jesus Camp for the first time, and I had a huge urge to post this album. One of the most anti-christian bands I have ever heard. Doc Corbin Dart has an incredibly annoying voice, but it fits perfectly for them. Comp of the "Crucifucks" LP and the "Wisconsin" LP with a song from "Welcome to 1984"
1. Democracy Spawns Bad Taste
2. Go Bankrupt And Die
3. You Give Me The Creeps

Meat Puppets - Up On The Sun
3rd album from the cowboy-punk group. My personal favorite from all of their stuff. After this it all goes down hill with their tunes.

Miles Davis - The Bitches Brew
Basically on this I will be uploading some albums that I'm listening to. I'd like to try and keep this as a daily thing, but I'll see how that goes. Really all that will be up here are random Jazz albums that I like and hardcore stuff that I'm into. If a link ever goes down just let me know and I'll re-up it as soon as I can.
I figure I might as well put up my favorite album ever made.
Miles Davis - The Bitches Brew
I can't describe how much my perception on music changed when I first listened to this album.
I was blown away by everything about it. This was the very first jazz album I ever heard in my life. There really isn't anything to say about it that hasn't been said before. I would highly recommend purchasing The Complete Bitches Brew Sessions.
1. Pharaoh's Dance
2. Bitches Brew
3. Spanish Key
4. John McLaughlin
5. Miles Runs The Voodoo Down
6. Sanctuary
